Event: Fire Hiring Webinar

The BLM Fire program is hosting a nationwide hiring webinar to educate prospective applicants about wildland fire career paths and how they can get started. The event will be held via Zoom and streamed on the BLM Fire Facebook Live Facebook Live on Wednesday, September 20 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mountain Time, 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time, 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Participants will learn about: • Positions specific to students, recent graduates, veterans, Returned Peace Corps and AmeriCorps/ VISTA volunteers, and persons with disabilities. • Common mistakes when applying for a fire job. • Federal benefits. • BLM Fire’s role in public lands management. • Career opportunities on and off the fireline.
