Since 1976, Keep Alive The Dream has celebrated Oregon’s African-American community. This annual event honors pioneering activists, community leaders, artists, musicians, and youth whose efforts have left lasting impacts in Oregon’s African-American community.
This year’s program will feature performances and speakers including DaNell Daymon & Greater Works, Senator Margaret Carter, Arietta Ward, and Alonzo Chadwick. Lifetime achievement awards will be presented to Dr. Shon Neyland, Lakayana Drury, Candace Avalos, David Ferguson, and Dr. Steven Holt.
Additionally, the event’s Victory Village marketplace houses vendors, regional agencies, and artists. Admission is free with a suggested donation of $5 or 5 cans of non-perishable food items. This event is family-friendly. Masking is required for entry. We invite you to join us!
