Last year, the Technology Association of Oregon launched the Black and Latinx Community (BLX) in support of technologists of color. After a successful first year, and with the input of our POC tech community, we’re back under an expanded vision and a new name – Tech in Color! This affinity group is focused on creating a safe space for people of color to make connections, share lived experiences, develop leadership skills, create an inclusive talent pipeline, and provide advocacy support. Our kick-off event is exclusively for POC in tech and tech adjacent roles. This free event will be hosted at Mt. Scott Park in SE Portland with food and beverages and open to the whole family! We hope to see you there!
