Why did you move here?

I relocated to Portland to pursue my professional dreams. Previously, I worked in operations at Salt & Straw, where I gained invaluable experience and growth. When the opportunity arose to join the Talent Team here, I couldn't pass it up. It was a chance to work alongside individuals I greatly admire, to learn from the best, and to 'sharpen my teeth' in a role that moves me closer to my career aspirations! Being part of such a dynamic team continues to inspire me every day, I am truly so fortunate.

What is one thing that you need/want from a community right now?

Right now, from the community, I seek greater diversity and openness. To me, community is much more than belonging—it's about doing something together that makes belonging matter. I envision us forging connections that are not only strong and united but also vulnerable and honest. We need to open up to each other, embrace our differences, and support one another through shared goals and mutual respect.

What kind of civic connection are you interested in making?

I am eager to connect with individuals who see human connection as our source of strength. I value leaders who prioritize human kindness and who are proactive in fostering an inclusive environment. Meeting people committed to creating opportunities for everyone and driving positive change in our community is essential to me. These connections inspire and propel us all toward a more equitable and compassionate society
