Why did you move here?

My partner and I have secured tenure-track faculty positions at Oregon State University, with my appointment starting in the Fall of 2024.

What is one thing that you need/want from a community right now?

Connecting with other people who care about social and environmental justice and promoting diversity in academia.

What kind of civic connection are you interested in making?

I am interested in collaborating to advance the representation of people of color in ecology. This could take the form of participating in outreach activities and providing academic advising for students of color, among other examples.
