She/Her/Ella | Director of Development
Company: Centro Cultural de Washington County
Moved Here from: Miami, Florida and Salem, OR on August 2025
Why did you move here?

I moved from Miami to Salem to pursue a role at the Oregon Dept of Education. I recently left the State to dedicate myself to non-profit work in the Portland metro area, particularly in Washington County.

What is one thing that you need/want from a community right now?

I want establish relationships and make connections with powerful and dedicated professionals committed to advancing equity and prosperity for diverse communities. I would love to find mentors in the area of non profit development.

What kind of civic connection are you interested in making?

I’m looking to build civic connections with government leaders, business and philanthropic partners, and community organizations that align with Centro’s mission. These relationships open doors to funding, partnerships, and visibility while deepening trust and engagement with the communities we serve. Ultimately, I want to connect with people and institutions that can help me learn about this work that is new to me and help me expand impact and strengthen belonging for Latino communities.
