I moved to Portland to serve the public and to help the city through a pivotal moment. Portland has extraordinary assets, its people, creativity, and civic spirit and real challenges that require steady leadership, trust-building, and follow-through. I was drawn to the opportunity to help strengthen how the City works so that residents can feel the impact in their daily lives. I believe in the greatest and potential of this City.
Trust and partnership. Sustainable progress happens when community members, City leadership, and staff work together with honesty, patience, and shared accountability. I value open dialogue, constructive feedback, and a willingness to stay engaged as we do the hard work of improving outcomes for everyone.
I’m interested in building relationships with community leaders, neighborhood advocates, nonprofit and business partners, and cultural organizations who are deeply invested in Portland’s future, particularly those focused on equity, economic growth, opportunity and improving how systems serve people. My goal is to listen, learn, and align efforts so we can move from conversation to action.
