Portland Backpack is seeking board members. We provide 1000 weekend food sacks a week at ten PPS elementary schools to kids who rely on their school meals and on the weekend might go without. Our current schools are 72.3% BIPOC. Our mission is two part, first to put food directly into kids hands, and two to engage in partnership with the communities we serve.
