Our board is amazing! They’re collaborative, approachable, and all-around exceptional human beings who ensure we live out the credit union philosophy of ‘people helping people’ each and every day. During your 3-year term as a paid board or audit committee member, you will actively participate in setting the strategic direction of the credit union, ensuring sound governance, and providing executive oversight on behalf of our 102,000 members who look to us to provide simple, honest financial solutions.

Successful candidate qualifications:
• Understanding of the credit union difference, IQ’s membership and community impact focus areas.
• Ability to adapt to changing economic conditions and focus on future strategies that bring more value to members.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Knowledge of financial reporting.
• Ability to utilize data in decision making.
• Demonstrated ability to critically & respectfully examine and question issues.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to actively contribute to assigned activities.
• Experience or knowledge in the following areas (preferred): non-profit community partnerships, digital banking, data analytics, DEI, or legal support.
• Live/work within our field of membership o WA – Washington State o OR – Columbia, Washington, Clackamas, Yamhill, Multnomah & Hood River Counties
