Community Engagement

Business Growth MAP mentors help cultivate and foster a growth mindset in students while contributing to the success of small businesses and nonprofits in our region. The objective is to have a diverse group of voices that are poised to bridge the student transition from theoretical work in the classroom to real-world, hands-on experience. Business Growth MAP seeks mentors who come from a variety of business backgrounds, and who come from historically underrepresented backgrounds in business (LGBTQ+, African American, Native American, Latinx and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander) to mentor and coach student consultancy teams for a semester, averaging 2-3 hours per week of engagement.
