Do you want to help low-income families improve their financial futures? You can with MFS CASH Oregon.
By providing free tax preparation and supporting free tax sites throughout the Portland Metro area, our volunteers help thousands of low-income, working families substantially increase their tax refunds – and thus savings – each year.
- No tax experience is necessary.
- All training is provided.
- Virtual and in-person opportunities are available.
Roles Include:
- Tax Preparer: Prepares tax returns
- Intake Specialist: Completes intake interview
- Client Facilitator: Checks in taxpayers for appointments
- Interpreter: Translates for taxpayers who don’t speak English
