The Hoyt Arboretum Friends is recruiting for several open Board positions to begin in fall of 2023. Hoyt Arboretum Friends (HAF) is a member-supported, non-profit organization working in partnership with Portland Parks & Recreation to manage Hoyt Arboretum. HAF’s mission is to bring people and trees together. We create meaningful learning experiences in a unique global tree collection that we nurture in partnership with Portland Parks & Recreation. We have a new strategic plan and some ambitious goals for the coming years, seeking to introduce this unique park to more people across the city and improve our visitor and educational facilities. We are seeking applicants with a wide range of experience. Most importantly, applicants should have a passion for the arboretum’s mission.
