We are altering the way we show up on Martin Luther King Jr. Day this year, focusing our efforts on supporting our Black-led partner organizations. Instead of our signature service event, we will be encouraging our community to support a variety of events and opportunities, posted here.
Our signature service event has been a community response to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and we are proud of the work and effort our volunteers and supporters have put in for the past 14 years. This work has helped transform our region into a better place. This year, we will focus our energy on supporting DEI and racial justice resources, organizations, events and ways our community can help from home, safe from the current surge in COVID cases.
