Looking to volunteer in your community to help people experience safety and joy while traveling? How about signing up to be a Transportation Ambassador for the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT)?

Transportation Ambassadors are a group of volunteers who help PBOT spread the word about transportation resources and programs through community events and outreach. As a Transportation Ambassadors we’ll give you a 90-minute orientation explaining how our bureau works and what information you will need to interact with the public. Then we’ll ask you to volunteer for tabling events, bike rides and more. We also host educational events and quarterly get-togethers just to have fun! All the while you’ll connect with others interested in transportation and gain experience with City government. You’ll get to share your perspective on issues that matter to you most and help shape how you and other people in the city get around.
