The Oregon Board of Massage Therapists is currently recruiting for a public (non-LMT) Board Member who is licensed in a health care related field to serve a four-year term as a member of the Board. There are seven members on the Board; four licensed Massage Therapists, two public members and a public member licensed in a health related field. The Board meets bi-monthly. Member responsibilities include but are not limited to: Review administrative investigations to determine if a licensee committed a violation of an Oregon Administrative Rule or Oregon Revised Statute. Advise Board staff on best practices, and communicate with the public and licensees on issues related to the practice of Massage Therapy.
