Moved here for work.
A sense of community among other POC. I'm originally from a black community in NC, attended an HBCU, and pledged a black fraternity. I'm somewhat used to living in the PNW, but still appreciate the sense of belonging and familiarity I feel in BIPOC spaces and places.
I'm a former elected official, so I'm interested in connecting with community and civic leaders who are working to create a better place for our BIPOC community.
