Company: Council for the Homeless
Moved Here from: Petaluma, CA on March 2024
Why did you move here?

I first learned of Vancouver 7yrs ago after road tripping up for the Halloweentown Festival in St.Helen’s, OR. I booked an Airbnb in Vancouver and instantly knew I wanted to move here one day. In December of 2023 I found myself looking for a new place to live and it was then that I knew my opportunity to move to Clark County had arrived. I moved to Vancouver in March of 2024 and started working for CFTH in April ‘24. Moving here I know it meant I wanted a job that would align with my values and centered around community. I moved here in pursuit of happiness and growth!

What is one thing that you need/want from a community right now?

Networking! I’m all about getting to know this community better, supporting where needed, and learning the richness that already exists here. As a BIPOC leader I’m always looking for my circle!

What kind of civic connection are you interested in making?

Community organizing, building bridges of communication/collaboration, inspire BIPOC youth, developing community support systems and maybe one day- political participation.
